Pousada Juma Kabanas Amazon Lodge is an authentic ecological lodge whose owners are of Indigenous origin who have lived in the region for several generations. The family decided to switch from subsistence farming to ecotourism using all the knowledge they learned from their ancestors.
The integration with the forest is so great that we receive visits from native monkeys every day, making it the perfect place for those who want to stay in total connection with the forest, offering tranquility, comfort and at the same time the necessary adventure to make their stay unforgettable. .
Located on the Juma River 90 km southeast of Manaus. The Lodge has internet access and was built in rustic architecture, but with great comfort and security.
1st Section – The route starts at the hotel or at the airport at 6:30 am. Heading to the port of CEASA. Estimated time 45 minutes. (Car).
2nd Section – Second from the port of CEASA in Manaus to the port of GUTIERES on Highway BR-319 in a speedboat passing through the Encontro das Águas. Estimated time 1 hour. (Speedboat).
3rd Section – Porto da GUTIERES on the BR-319 Manaus – Porto Velho Highway to the MAÇARICO Lake. Estimated time 1 hour. (Kombi.
4th Section – Lago do Maçarico to KABANAS AMAZON LODGE located on the JUMA River. Estimated time 1 hour. (Speedboat).
The Kabanas Amazon Lodge, was built in a rustic way with natural resources from the region. We offer chalets for couples with private bathrooms and rooms with capacity for small groups of up to 6 people, a restaurant that follows the architecture of the region’s past generations, a reception with same section of the restaurant and access walkways. The covers are made of straw extracted from the forest.
